This book is kind of disturbing, but I don’t think its meant to be? Every time I listen to it, something gives me the “ick”, but Im invested enough to figure out where its going for some reason:

Ok, our narrator is incredibly annoying. She clearly has a child who is has Aspergers and is ashamed of him, basically hides him from the world, is depressed that her child “hates her” when he’s “her world” (even though she’s ashamed of him) and is too needy for my tastes.

🎧 really don’t love the main character- she’s definitely a downer and her internal dialogue is annoying.
