I’ve started to read this book in 2025 since this book is so decadent and rich, the type of writing that needs to be savored. I’m currently reading it to try and get out of a reading slump that brilliant and heart crushing novels have put me in. So here I am back sitting on the fire escape and wondering the memories of Cisneros.
