Genuinely confused how Arise Zhang is able to write a coherent story here but all of his other books are confusing af to read

This book is the last shot I'm giving the author. So far I haven't liked any of his books. However, I already had this one at home so might as well read it. That being said the writing is already a lot better than the other two books by the author I'm currently reading.
