okay this book is giving me whiplash I will like it, then be frustrated, then like it again lol. Reid does love red cheeks and dropped bellies… the overuse of this is making my eyes hurt from rolling them lol. besides that, my main issue has been Effy’s prejudice (and mildly annoying personality lol). but I am liking the theme discussions.

honestly… so far, I am surprised this received so much hype. if this wasn’t one of my most anticipated reads I might have even dnf’d & I hate to dnf. there are a few aspects that are good like some of the metaphors and atmosphere (though something about this lacks for me too). I’ll hold my tongue on the negatives until I finish.
