Such an interesting concept to be an apprentice of ones bestowed with the task of ending a life. This book takes place in a post modern society that has overcome so many of our current defects such as old age and death and “gleaning” or taking one’s life is the full time purpose and position of the chosen Scythes. Right now, the pages are headed with the complex emotions surrounding the virtue of life & death.
