A slow read so far, chapters are quite long although action-packed. It’s very obvious that this is a debut novel. There is beautiful language and a really whimsical storyline, but there depth is lacking and any real reason to continue to invest in the characters is missing. It feels like a story where you are simply going through the motions. Reluctantly, read on!
