Dragging and repetitive. Violet always seems to have a boulder in her throat, be on tip of nausea, or a shoulder or knee “subluxation.” Some parts just don’t make logical sense and the time jumps between paragraphs, of which I originally commended in the first book, are simply major plot holes for details and momentum craved. Too much time is spent on back and fourths with Xaden and characters have lost spark.
