My husband and I have been going through this book. It’s very insightful, and reassuring. Especially when you are dealing with toxic family systems. And even liberating to know that choosing space and distance, doesn’t make you evil. Emotionally immature parents can cause so much damage, and be so enmeshed with their adult children. Every parent should read this.
