Reading slow because I have to take notes. The history of the army in the 90s is so different for so many reasons. And it was so much more of a male dominated profession then. It still is now, but it shows in this book.

Still chipping away at this one; it's heavy & exhausting to read if I'm honest. We have a leadership brief on this next week so I hope to wrap it up by then. I do love the photos in the book that are low key vintage, 70s-90s Army.

It's almost exhausting having to keep reading this & yet I can't imagine being in a leadership position having to deal with this level of fire extinguishing.

The 90s Army still blows my mind making my way through this book. The notes I'm making in the margins are everything from witty, jaded, curious, & wtf. So many thoughts & Shadley, put between a rock & a hard spot for sure.

Recommended reading by the boss. It's terrifyingly captivating. If you're not familiar with TRADOC, likely won't relate as much but boy is it fascinating in a terrible way. Also the army in the 90s is so trippy. The historical side of the book itself is alluring too.
