...is his ability to dig into these incredibly deep and buried feelings, experiences, and nostalgia with a few simple words. He has a way of arranging words even sometimes in a way that can seem outwardly vulgar but is in reality so tender and profound. He has quickly become a new favorite of mine, both as a poet and a singer

Oh Leonard Cohen how I adore you. I realized in the process of reading these poems just how many of my favorite artists you have inspired in one way or another (fun fact including Lana in Kintsugi, "that's how the light gets in" taken from Anthem).
