is this good or overly technical, building/planning a house and want to know whats 'good' also hows ur iron doing lol

If you only read one book to help you build a house, make it this one. It’s accessible, easy to understand, well written, not too technical. You’ll also want to look through the companion book, A Pattern Language. The Timeless Way is the theory. Pattern Language is the application, it’s a (totally readable) reference book of patterns you can use to build your house to meet your actual needs. Message me if you’d like any assistance – I’ve read more of Alexander’s books as I’m gearing up for arch. school.
Also my iron’s great, it’s no longer an issue.
