I think this has been my favourite chapter so far, I know there's only one chapter left but still! I love how Isabel has acted and changed this chapter, it's not been a huge change but sometimes the little changes are what matters more.

Look, obviously everything Eva has been through is awful and should have never happened in the first place, there is no mistaking that. But as a person, even with everything that I know has happened to her, I still don't like her. Does that make me a bad person? I don't know but I'd rather be honest than lie.

So I am confusion, EDH is - I'm assuming - the mother? It's all so ruined, which was also predicted, and dramatic it's kind of hard to keep up!

As predicted, the author is making Eva more than what she was at the beginning and with Isabel becoming more bewitched by her, it's obvious now how much they care for one another, it's not love and it's more than like, it's somewhere between them

this chapter is the first time I've felt that the book has actually portrayed the romance & affection between Isabel & Eva - I'm interested to see where it leads!

So it's lust between them..? Not a romance...?

I'm not really feeling them having their moment, it felt a little forced and I'm enjoying the brothers being involved more than Isabel & Eva.

And so the romance/lust blooms..? I still don't like Eva though. Isabel either has OCD or anxiety or both and as someone with generalised anxiety, I totally get it and sympathise.

it's clear that Eva has no respect for Isabel or the family, clearly she's hiding stuff and we'll probably end up feeling sorry for her later in the book but for now I don't like how disrespectful she's being
