Also he brings her to darkroom (because she’s a photographer) as a romantic gesture to apologize for something, but then the conversation shifts to talking about how many women he’s slept with in that very darkroom..

Finally, the only good part so far is the deserved lash out at her family. Charlie hanging up the phone for her was something that finally made me like him and be interested.

This is ridiculous. They finally kiss properly, she somehow ‘becomes undone’ just by kissing, and then he rejects her again.. I’m so close to a DNF. I feel no chemistry between them, they only have lust, but even that the mmc keeps putting off in a way that I think the fmc should be insulted.
