I think the timeline of events so far feel rushed, the characters feelings for each other or even their emotions as a whole hadn't had time to develop or change. A week for the love and the friendships to develop, for the therapist to get involved, for a rivalry, it's quick and hard to believe. I'm still very much enjoying the book, but the timeline of events is holding me back from loving it
