Does the younger apprentice not have a name? It's been 9 books, and he's still always referred to as “the younger apprentice.” Give the young man a name, please! 😭

Ha! You made me curious about and his name is revealed in the next book in the series. You must have been on to something, for Mr. McCall Smith to make that revelation in his 10th book of the series. It is funny that even by the 4th or 5th book he has a distinct personality and even character arc, but no name. 😆

He's almost always there, whether in the background or a short conversation, and Charlie interacts with him a lot, so it's been driving me crazy that he was ever only referred to as "the younger apprentice." 😭
But I'm relieved to know his name will finally be revealed in the next book! Thanks for letting me know, Daniel! I was tempted to look it up, but I was also afraid of possibly potential spoilers. (And I don't even remember if he had a name in the show?? Guess it's time for a rewatch to see if it'd been used there. 😂)
