Visualize: The scene that Robert felt first got in the water. On page 173 it says," The first time I went in the pool, it felt cold.....I never thought I would be able to play a sport." In this sentence I could visualize he is happy that he can play a sport while having a deformed leg. I could also visualize that he feels the cool water touching his skin for the first time. I think this sentence was well written.

Connection: The connection I made is myself. In the book Robert Hoge is born with a ugly face and he couldn't make friends at school. This connects to me because I had a time that I couldn't make any friends. When it was the first day of school in TK some of the kids already had friends and I was sitting alone. I can feel what he was feeling like alone and it connects to me. This is why this book connects to me.
