i def finished this months ago but forgot to log it lol. but i adored the narrative, the powerful form and audience framing, and the bravery and humanity of the characters amid a terrifying dystopian world, perfectly rooted in present-day reality yet continually eluding our complete understanding or explanation (the idea of shadow selves/souls built of discarded, unselected genetic adaptations fascinates me).
