Current Chapter: Chapter Seven - “How I Reached Home”
This is exhilarating, terrible, and most engaging. The chronicling of the beginning of the invasion, the predictable and destructive curiosity of humans, and the absolutely alien (literally) technology of the Martians is more than enough for intrigue to take hold.

Current Chapter: Chapter Four - “The Cylinder Opens”
Gosh, after so much built suspense, I feel much in the same way as the protagonist (who is still currently unnamed as far as I can tell); I love the concept of a publicized spectacle being documented in this way from a laymen who is observing the event with fascination, but is little more aware of the implications of what is currently transpiring.

Current Chapter: Chapter Two - “The Falling Star”
It feels so poignant, yet so apt and realistic, that people would make efforts to dismiss concerns about strange phenomena happening so far away whilst also explaining it away as simple geological phenomena. I love the concept of an apocalypse in progress but no one not only didn’t listen, but were intentionally dismissive.

Current Chapter: Chapter 1 - “”
I sense the tones of cynicism and hardly-concealed social comment burned in every line of text thus far. It feels very much as though a general expectation of the varying social and cultural expectations and habits of the martians and humans are being defined right now.
The, often, deliberate ignorance of man has been, and will continue, to be their downfall.
