20% in my re-read having read many fantasy books after the first time I read this and thinking how many of them were inspired by LOTR at least a little bit. a primer and "how to" that's still being used after all this time, crazy.

I skipped that entire part last year during my reread 😭
@cofi @mirjam I don't think there's one person on history that said "damn I'm so sad they cut tom bombadil from the movies"
