Oh so now I KNOW her father is a POS and almost certainly had a hand in Whitneys death

Why are the engagement rings in this series so ugly?? These men are richer than God and have more resources than the majority of the population and yet they seem to ONLY buy the ugliest rings and stone cut??!

Maybe I’m being picky because my sister is a gemologist but my god these rings are ugly and tacky

Historically I have ignored the music in these books but this song choice (Wicked Game by Luisant) confirms my hunches re Tyson over Laikyn (man starved and ravenous holding on by a thread, think Bridgerton Anthony-esque kinda hunger for the woman he ‘cant’ have)

Also calling it now, Laikyns father had something to do with Whitneys death
