Mercy you are driving me NUTS!!!!!! Gabriel is trying to protect you by keeping you in the dark and downplaying his feelings for you, because SHOCKER, if you don’t know anything you can’t be used as leverage against him and it doesn’t put you at risk!!!!

I dont love how he proposed, I have a thing about not proposing when it’s one partners ‘big moment’ (ie birthday / graduation / opening a business in this case) so not a huge fan of this

Also for me I could never marry someone who literally just met my parents moments before getting engaged that feels insane but alas i had fun with this book

Sometimes sentences are so cringe and fully take me out of the story bc girl wdym her caption on her Hallowe’en pic is “Use your black girl magic for good, not evil <3”

We could have done something WAYYYYY more creative and less cringy for a sexy witch Hallowe’en costume
