I did not see the twist of Mikean coming! Like I probably should I suspected he was evil, but I didn’t think he would try to assasinate his brother! So sad! I don’t like him or the shriven guys

I like Rhaif’s perspective the best I think. Because it’s giving Star Wars/Andor. But Lyra catching up to them is kind of annoying and the fact that Shiya just left them is like arghhhh. Something go right for just once!

I really like this book so far! It has the same vibes as Andor which I have been searching for! The animas give off similar vibes, the criminals and characters escaping, living their own lives, just trying to make it through. It’s intriguing.
