Is the FMC supposed to be that stupid? In the last trial, the one she is supposed to win so she can free finally her brothers, she risks it all to save an unknown woman from the enemy forces, angering the emperor and her teammates and drawing attention in the process, EXACTLY what she doesn’t want. 🙄 Like, why?? I DREAD when authors do that to the FMCs!! Ugh

It started a bit slow and confusing with a lot of similar names. I had to google the characters to make sure I knew of whom she was taking about. I knew from the start who the primus was. For a badass gladiator she is very weak even if she hasn’t trained much in 6 years, and for someone determined to save her brothers, she loses focus pretty quickly. The scenes in the arena are short and she basically wins by luck
