So I had a thought since GR is getting rid of direct messaging. Does anyone want to be in a group for the sole purpose of being able to message one another? Because you can still send messages to groups.

CS May I just say: Wild. I did NOT expect that, especially from what is effectively a social media site. How do you be social without messaging?

That said, I've also had my share of messages that should never have been sent.

This is kinda the route Amazon went. The forums. The comments. The thumbs down.

Is that what Goodreads is? Amazon 2.0?
