Part two is so emotionally destructive upon reread. First go around I had to be convinced (for a long while!) to care about him, but now that I do, everything that happens with him has the chance to fully sink in 😖

Still preemptively mourning the day I finish this book

This is shaping up to easily be my favorite read of the year. I’m already wishing I could erase it from my mind and read it again for the first time.

Never read HP or Manacled, but I heard it has a dark and gothic atmosphere, so I picked this up. Very good so far! I love a long book that slowly unfurls itself.
