in this exciting next 60 pages of the second book, fred and weasley absolutely fucking obliterate a poor salamander by feeding it a bomb, and Scholastic thinks it's a good idea to translate the meters in the original british text into feet & inches but leave in "kippers" and "treacle pudding" as if any american has any clue wtf those things are
