Not a fan of how short each chapter is. Makes the whole thing feel flimsy, fragmented, and it runs horribly against the slow and quiet mood the myriad of environmental description of the island has cultivated. Feels like I’m scrolling through a bunch of TikTok shorts. We will see how the plot holds.
