Meant to update it yesterday. I am now on page 263, not 248.

It takes you like a storm’s wind.

I need to pick up the pace on this one. It’s not meant to be read over a long span.

The tension and the electricity and ice continue to build. I’m in the middle of Catherine’s… episode and it is gripping. It draws me in. I can’t tell what’s real and what isn’t; what’s Cathy’s dramatization and what truly ails her, but I don’t think she can tell either. Every line between reality and delusion is blurred, which, of course, pushes her and us only deeper into delusion.

It’s incredibly readable and I feel intrinsically connected to Miss Brontosaurus, though it is beyond me if that is due to psychological influence of my own. I need to figure out what that’s called… feeling connected to someone or something because you WANT to feel connected. I’m Tampa bound and ready to bid adios to this god forsaken Atlanta airport. Deuces, biotches.

I thought I’d have trouble picking up what I remembered to be a story filled with utterly hateable characters and a narrative that was painful to battle my way through. That being said, I also remembered being in love with the damned thing, and only stopped because I have executive dysfunction brain type issues. It is fair to say I am having no issue diving headfirst back into Ellis Bell’s stormy masterpiece.
