When you’re able to tell you’re currently reading one of your new favorite books…there’s nothing like it.

Good prose is like good music. There’s a rhythm, a cadence, a melody that sings sweet and is easy to follow. As I get older, I find that good prose is what I value most when reading a book. I don’t always come across it, but when I do? Oh boy. William’s prose here is…magnificent. I have been immediately captivated. He does so much with so little. Love.
