Okay but be so serious right now, how do you say “I don’t wanna mess this up” after making out on the couch? Like hello, the damage is already done. And not just a normal makeout, a HOT HOT HOT one. How do you go from that to being just friends because I genuinely do not understand the logic. I’m so invested in this story. This is my first Emily Henry book and I fully get the hype now.

Reading it after the movie made me angry. The adaptation is so bad.

But we watched the adaptation of People We Meet on Vacation, and I’m reading Funny Story by Emily Henry. They’re different books, and the Funny Story adaptation will come later, not this year. It’s still in the works.
