ok he's not actively as much of an asshole as in the first half but i'm still just kinda baffled as to what i'm missing / why there's so many 5 star reviews?? like ok i get it, from the constant never-ending insight into David's thoughts he has a lot going on but the writing isn't making me warm to or feel empathy for him in any way
