This is one of those situations where you’re reading an author you really enjoy, but it’s an early work, and you can clearly see how much they’ve grown. I’m… not really liking this one. It’s also a thriller where the murder victim dies in the prologue, and then you flash back through her life leading up to her death. And she sucks. Becca sucks. Not saying she deserved to die… but she SUCKS.
