Even if I was single, I would NEVER do it with someone I worked with. The heroine's job is too close to real life for me.

It was Tit for Tat - she used a vibrator, so he had to wear the underwear the next day. *shuddering* at the thought
Yeah. Me too. I am shuddering at the "erotic" scene right now as she makes him strip to show her he was wearing the used butt-floss all dayI may be scarred for life. What I am not is turned on.
Okay here is the description of what he looks like in the thong, see if you think it's sexy:"It was like looking at a sleek, powerful swimmer in his Speedo. Or Superman in his tight super-suit. Everything was right there before her eyes."
Hot or Not? I vote Not.
Ohhhh even better quote:"If she thought to emasculate him, she'd done the opposite. Her thong somehow enhanced his maleness, brought out the potent animal in him."
Not Buying It.
Yeah, a Speedo with ruffles. Real hot. I know that's what I think about before I go to bed. I think I may send hate mail, I'm that turned off. LOL.

It's almost too funny to be mad. But I may have to start skimming for the love scenes soon (the ones without a man in a thong)
I vote NOT as well. "Or Superman in his tight super-suit. Everything was right there before her eyes" With this, she has completely ruined my Dean Cain Superman fantasy.
Okay just when I thought it couldn't get less sexy:She gets him off *while still in the thong* then wants him to keep wearing it. And he does.
Ohhh I gave up on this book. The chick was too manly for me. The book had already hit the three strikes and you're out rule. I skimmed the rest and it just gets worse.I don't like dominant manly women who act like a frat boy - she has f**k buddies and uses something on the hero that really freaked me out.
I didn't like anything about this book.
D - yes I do!The funny thing is, I went back to rereading Branded by Fire by Nalini Singh and Mercy doesn't bother me at all. She doesn't try to lord over Riley in bed at all, she only wants him to give her respect as a sentinel. I guess I am freaked out by women who try to be the man in the bedroom. I love that Nalini Singh can write a strong woman who does't mind being dominated by a man who is stronger than her.
It's great how things go into perspective when you encounter something way over the top. I'm glad you can overwrite that harrowing experience with a good one like a Nalini Singh book. :)
