I feel bad being annoyed with Lily sometimes. She shows such clear signs of someone who grew up in an abusive household. I think she uses that experience to be too aware of Ryle being aggressive but also uses it as a way to brush it off. Like Ryle can’t be a bad person because he’s not as bad as her dad

the writing is a bit repetitive but it’s engaging so far
