The main protagonists are great and all, but master Kiprun is stealing the spotlight in every scene he appears in

I’m a bit confused that they keep saying the Abyss hasn’t been conquered yet, but at the same time there is proof of prior communication between East and West, and also when Dumai was traveling North she saw merchant ships and clothing styles from the East? And they are aware that the king of Hroth is dead so how did the news reach them? Is Hroth connected to the Empire of the 12 Lakes in the North?

I’m so pissed at Siyu consistently disobeying, causing TWO deaths and putting those around her in danger through her selfish actions, and still not seeing how she was wrong?! I’m definitely with Esbar on this, she should have been exiled.
