Holy shittt this is so goddamn good. I’ve always been a sucker for aliens so perhaps I am biased, but the logistics of discovering a method of communication and learning their culture and physiology is making it impossible for me to stop reading.

The science is going over my head, but luckily they will have like a sentence or two to explain what the hell i was supposed to surmise

Very solid first chapter, I have read The Martian and you can definitely tell it’s the same writer, which is a positive, I love Andy Weir’s sense of humor. I am tempted to pick up more of his books to see if they all share the comedic and instantly compelling introduction.
