i’m reading too much romance. it’s not even my genre so i end up expecting shit that makes no sense. when they looked at the picture and saw that they look just like the grandparents, plus the reveal that her name is also lovie like her grandmother, it had me questioning if this was some kind of time travel “dark” shenanigans. then i was like “bitch, this is a romance. please relax.

okay, so when the synopsis said that her grandmother thinks they’re madly in love, it did not specify that she think her granddaughter is her. is that something alzheimer’s can do? could it make you believe that someone else is you? maybe it would’ve made more sense if she thought they were her daughter and son in law or an old best friend and her partner. i don’t know. 🤷🏾‍♀️
