the whole story was about emily being awful and selfish towards her parents. she ran away into a danger and a life that looked good but the people around her were suffering from their own chaos. it took all of the villa drama for her to realize that she is lame and awful to her parents…

period, emily finding herself after this mess and realizing that she was so blind to being chosen by a loser man she didn’t know. he was pretty, wealthy and a lame. and now she knows better

prediction: nina is crazy cause she’s not medicated. she’s faking her daughter’s sickness, but plays it off at protecting her and not knowing it was harmful. or she’s aware and wants to make her husband miserable and distant. he sends her away. emily is just there but gets the guy. nina is sent away or dead. idk what she could be hiding under the kitchen

if i didn’t let go of my pride and heal myself to fix my relationship with my parents, i would probably be like emily and play victim. like her parents care for her and love her but she chooses to see evil in them they don’t have. they just want to make sure she’s good in life and tbh that acting career isn’t working. get a job, figure it out and stop blaming your parents for your actions

i love the writing and third person narration. the characters, have separate thoughts and emotions, they don’t feel to have the same voice making it fun to read. i like this world and how it’s slowly revealing the crazy

i like how the birth scene was described. it was very beautiful and kinda made me feel why people want babies, why they want parenthood. to have a healthy care and love for their babies
