Carmilla is turned and Isis revived, loose, and killing. Carmilla and Laura fall in love to Ms. D’s jealous distaste. Carmilla and Laura spy and overhear Isis wants something from Ms. D. I think it may be Carmilla.

The vampire professor has revealed the resting place of her sire to Carmilla and Laura. She says she has chased her sire through centuries to find her crypt. But earlier the professor says she is less than 200 years old. She has only lived 1 full century, so this statement doesn’t make sense.

This is definitely a sapphic story and I am here for it. I continue to enjoy how S.T. Gibson writes her spice. I am a little confused about the setting though. Not sure what year this takes place.

2 POVs - Laura and Carmilla. Laura is a freshman who was accepted into a prestigious writing course. Carmilla is class favourite. The first chapter of Carmilla’s POV reveals she meets in secret with the prof and said prof is a vampire. Unsure of Carmilla herself is a vampire or not - but I don’t think so at this point.
