Stop making stupid decisions!

Slow progress. I'm prepared for this to get good later on but at the moment there are too many people I don't care about arguing over things that could be sorted out with an honest conversation.

Should I count the chapters that actually feature the main character instead of just people talking about him? I'm predicting less than 40%.

A little bit of direct communication would solve so many problems

The title and cover make this look like historical romance. Actually it's interesting fantasy with a lot of complex politics. Apparently the publishers missed that.
