Oranges and other citrus fruits have a component (forget the name) that increases blood flow and lowers stroke risk. Studies on women with low blood flow showed that, when placed in a cold room and given fresh squeezed orange juice + one group given a placebo, the ones who received the orange juice had 50% slower cool down bodily response and warmed 50% quicker.

Fascinating info on how the fumes of grilling meat are carcinogenic and are more carcinogenic than the fumes of grilling tempeh or tofu (though these are mildly carcinogenic and it’s best to avoid fried foods) - but FUMES? Crazy.
