the white rabbits let loose continue to breed, the border, an archway, crawl on your stomach staying close to the middle, like some sort of bizarre dream, walking in the aquarium underneath murky water, near and far all at once, open expanse and uncomfortable closeness. a light emanating that pulls control in. ghost bird, found in the parking lot, surprised to be alive. the rumor, the director had gone in alone.

boring ride to the border - cheney is eager to fill up the silence. method and practical theory reach their limits in area x. what might ghost bird have been thinking? the numbering of the expeditions, a choice by the director. and to think she did not return.
