I know I didn't particularly enjoy this book on my last reread but this time around I am having the time of my life. It's just so thrilling and fun! Can't wait to finish this tonight! Shit just went down at the action!

Just survived the Kanej bathroom scene. Screaming, crying, throwing up. Reading this on my lunch break probs wasn’t the best idea. 😭😭

The wonderful thing about this duology is that all six protagonists are equally compelling. Crazy work.

Our boy just confessed his LOVE to our girl and she simply nods. I LIVE. Also, this is a lot more exciting than I remember. Thus far, it doesn't drag at all - which was my major gripe on the last reread!

Jokes on me, I jumped straight into the second book.

I know lots of people disagree but CK drags like hell, the plot is really not doing it for me.

The writing is not as sharp as in book 1, but we're slowly getting into this story. I'm mostly invested in Kanej at this point lmao.

My favorite BROTP just beat the shit out of one another and I‘m not okay... even though it has been a long time coming.
