I’m really enjoying this. I like Remington and how he’s genuinely just nice and wants to become true friends with holden. Poor Holden with what he went through as a kid, getting burned by a bunch of bullies and with his dad lulling himself so all of that led to some selective mutism and severe lack of trust toward others. Poor dude. But Remington is exactly what he needs

3.5 stars. I enjoyed this but I agree with a reviewer who said it kind of felt lazy at times. Like never once did the book show holden’s mom after her presence in the prologue. Or his little half sisters. And the whole fall out between Remi and his best friend Finn was kinda glossed over? And I just feel like a lot was kinda brought up but never explored fully I guess. But I still had a good time with this one
