You’d think I’d learned my lesson with audio books. They often ruin the book. I can’t tell if I hate how the book was written or if it’s the narrators way of speaking. Feels a whole lot like “I said” “He spoke” “I talked” I don’t need to be told that people are speaking when I can clearly tell it’s a conversation
