Incredible stuff from this Moses guy. Wrote the laws that made his positions so he could exercise absolute authority. He removed a casino from a park based on a grudge and got away with lying under oath twice like how is this real??

Around 1/3 through the book. This is possibly the most interesting thing I’ve ever read. At this point in the story, Bob Moses is still the hero and I’m enraptured by his approach to achieving his goals. Although I hate cars, this man built the right roads, parkways and expressways to get the public to places of enrichment. I can’t wait to see his battles with Jane Jacobs and how his story can be used for good.
