I am pausing. Obviously there's the obvious. Drug-addicted cheaters, even though one has a wife and baby at home. Okay, but we like juicy drama even if it is predictable/scribbled on the back of the book. But, why no shoes? This is the same problem as Elv in The Story Sisters. No shoes = destroyed dirty feet. IRL and not, this is disgusting and can lead to disease. Dirty feet, blisters! I can't let this slide.
