Having finished all of the smaller books in the New Testament, I am now 92% through the New Testament and 98% through the Holy Bible overall. I have a week to go and only the book of Revelation to finish.

I'm starting to really blaze through the smaller books of the New Testament (10 books in total since my last update including Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, Philamon). I'm currently 78% through the New Testament and 96% of the Holy Bible overall. I'm in my final push to finish by the end of the year!

Finished 1st and 2nd Corinthians, putting me 64% through the New Testament and 92% through the Bible overall. Paul had some real nuggets of wisdom to share that are sprinkled throughout his letters, but he’s a bit overwhelming to read if I’m being honest. I wish there had been more letters from Peter preserved & canonized as he was the cornerstone of Christ’s church in those early days.

Finished Acts and Romans and am 50% through the New Testament and 90% through the Holy Bible over all. So close to finishing this goal of mine!
Just want to add that chapters 6 and 8 of Romans were some of my favorite chapters in the Bible.

I just finished the gospels. I read them in harmony with each other, reading the events as they happened across all four books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. It was harder to track where I was in my overall goal that way, but it made for a more comprehensive understanding of the life of Jesus Christ. Only 225 pages to go!

Holy Smokes. I can’t believe I just finished the Old Testament. I thought it would be boring /irrelevant for the most part, and that I’d be totally lost. While a lot of that was true, I was shocked and amazed at all the hidden gems & tidbits that are scattered throughout the text. I highly recommend reading the OT— don’t be intimidated! God has a lot of messages in here waiting for you to discover them.

Have now read Hosea, Joel, Amos, and Obadiah. There are a lot of beautiful verses in these books/chapters although some of the storyline is repeat prophecy of what would happen to the Israelite people (the fulfillment of which is listed in previous books of scripture (ie. Kings and Chronicles. Still a cautionary tale that we not repeat those mistakes. The latter-day prophecies are very captivating! 95% done with OT.

Just finished Ezekiel which puts me at 91% finished with the Old Testament and 69% through the Bible overall. I feel like it’s all down hill from here, with just the minor prophets to go! I don’t know why, but I am surprised that a lot of the Bible stories are yet to come this late in the book including Daniel in the lions den and Jonah and the whale.
