This story, focuses on the lives of four friends: Eileen, Alice, Simon and Felix. I enjoyed the back-and-forth between Eileen and Alice through their correspondence. The rambling thoughts and observations about the world were at times very thought-provoking. Other times this book felt very dense and it took a long time to finish. Some of it was hard to connect with since I am not familiar with the UK.
