I'm taking notes and engaging with the text and the lore within it like it's a history book from another world. I haven't felt this compelled to check every nook, every line for crumbs of detail since my first playthroughs of Dark Souls and Elden Ring. Every single line of prose adds something to the world; another brick to construct this massive Gothic cathedral of a book

Every single line in this matters. It’s scratching that itch for the world building Fromsoftware does through item descriptions and surrealist bizarre scenery and dialogue. VERY VERY highly recommend the kindle version so you can highlight and make the font big.

The Dark Souls of books, very cryptic and bizarre for the vibes. The print in my hardcover is teeny tiny I might buy the kindle edition so I’m not squinting at it

Sana⁷ Oh yes, I thought that it's one of those series where you just have to take notes, you would be completely lost otherwise! I hope that you enjoy reading it, my friend ☺️

You literally have to or you'll be so lost, definitely a book that'll be better on a reread
